Funding and resourcing

The Environment Management Group (EMG) Secretariat is resourced by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) through contributions from the Environment Fund and the United Nations regular budget. UNEP administers the Secretariat and provides the institutional and administrative support needed for its work.

In addition, the EMG may receive occasional financial contributions from donor countries to support specific activities, as well as in-kind contributions from its member organizations.
